The B4CVET project continues to make progress towards its upcoming milestones, focusing on strengthening the capacities of vocational education and training (VET) teachers and trainers, enhancing international cooperation, and developing competence frameworks aligned with the evolving needs of the labour market.
Following the recent Transnational Project Meeting held in Nienburg, Germany, on 29–30 September 2026, project partners have continued their coordination to ensure the effective implementation of the next activities and deliverables.
Two key priorities are currently at the centre of the partnership’s efforts: the preparation of the international Training of Trainers (ToT), scheduled for February 2027 in Ireland, and the finalisation of Deliverable D2.3, which is due by 31 October 2026.
Preparations for the Training of Trainers in Ireland
One of the upcoming activities within the B4CVET project is the international Training of Trainers (ToT), planned to take place in Ireland in February 2027.
Project partners are currently coordinating to confirm the exact training dates and facilitate the organisational arrangements necessary for the participation of representatives from partner institutions.
In this context, the Vocational School of Elbasan is preparing to identify the participants who will represent the institution during this international training activity. Once the dates are confirmed, the school will proceed with the selection of participants and the necessary administrative arrangements, including the submission of participants’ names and the preparation of invitation letters required for visa applications.
The training is expected to provide valuable opportunities for professional development, knowledge exchange, and the strengthening of training capacities among participating institutions. It will also support the exchange of innovative educational approaches and good practices that can be transferred into vocational education and training environments.
Development of Contextualised Competence Frameworks – Deliverable D2.3
Alongside preparations for the upcoming training, the B4CVET partnership is focusing on the completion of an important project deliverable during October 2026.
Deliverable D2.3 – Contextualised Competence Frameworks Related to the Specific Sectoral Learning Situations is scheduled for submission by 31 October 2026.
This deliverable focuses on the development of competence frameworks adapted to specific sectoral learning situations, aiming to establish stronger connections between vocational education and the practical requirements of professional environments.
The development process seeks to identify, structure, and contextualise relevant professional competencies, taking into consideration sector-specific characteristics, real workplace situations, and the skills required by the labour market.
By developing these frameworks, the project aims to contribute to more relevant, practice-oriented, and competence-based vocational education and training approaches.
The Vocational School of Elbasan remains actively engaged in the partnership and is committed to supporting the preparation of this deliverable by providing relevant contributions and expertise whenever required.
Strengthening International Cooperation and VET Quality
The ongoing activities of the B4CVET project highlight the importance of international collaboration in improving the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of vocational education and training.
Through participation in international meetings, joint development activities, and training opportunities, partner institutions can exchange experiences, strengthen institutional capacities, and explore innovative approaches to vocational learning.
For the Vocational School of Elbasan, participation in B4CVET represents an important opportunity to further advance the internationalisation of vocational education, support the professional development of teachers and trainers, and promote the integration of European good practices into the educational process.
As the partnership moves towards its next milestones, the Vocational School of Elbasan remains committed to contributing actively to the successful implementation of B4CVET and ensuring that the knowledge, methodologies, and experiences gained through international cooperation create lasting value for teachers, students, and the wider VET community.
